Bringing World Leading Applied Sciences and Technology to the Art of Rowing

Welcome to the Kossev Consortium website!

The Consortium was founded by a group of colleagues committed to carrying on the work of their friend Emil Kossev.  Emil was passionate about taking scientific research and technological equipment out of the lab and putting it in the hands of coaches to help them prepare their athletes with the best tools at their disposal.  Our mission is to continue this work by bringing world-leading applied science and technologies to the art of rowing and coaching.

Right now, we are building a video and document library with presentations and research to help coaches expand their knowledge and improve their craft.  In the future, this resource will include unique learning opportunities like podcasts and webinars to meet the professional development needs of coaches.

We are also partnering with product manufacturers to offer deals and discounts on the latest technologies.  As we grow, we will include product reviews, demonstrations, hands-on clinics, and technology grants to coaches.

Through all of these offerings, as well as our Annual Symposium, it is our goal to create a community of coaches, researchers, and product manufacturers who respect and learn from each other.  Working together, we can drive innovation, foster learning, and enhance performance and enjoyment in rowing.

If you have other ideas for the Consortium, we welcome your feedback either through our online survey or via e-mail at info@kossevconsortium.org    Your ideas will help us best meet the needs of the rowing community.

Sincerely,

Julie McCleery Signature
